How to Get Custom Email Addresses

After you have registered your domain name, the next thing to do is get your email addresses up and running.

You only have 2 options

While there are a ton of options for email hosting, if you want to take your business seriously you only have 2 — Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace. Both are $6 a month for an email address, and both have upsells to gain more storage or features. Microsoft offers the entire office suite included in the subscription, Google has their suite of matching tools.

This really comes down to your preference of technological overlord.

Yes, you can just use a free @gmail.com account, and lose customers because you do not have a professional email address.

Yes, you can use the apache email client that came with your budget hosting plan and accidentally set up a pop connection and lose all your email because it all downloaded to the wrong device, miss out on important communications because of server issues, miss out on calendar features, and spend hours configuring email clients.

Or you can invest $6 a month into yourself and your business, and have a scalable email solution that will last you for the life of your business.
